In October, we will be launching a revamp of Gencraft’s quest and XP system!
To facilitate a more varied, interesting, and rewarding experience, we will be introducing new quest types alongside a new rewards system with expanded cosmetic options to customize your profile!
The revamp will include the following:
- New and revised daily quests
- Daily streak system with XP rewards
- New weekly quest system
- New level-based experience system with level-based rewards
- New cosmetic options
All users will start from 0 XP in the revamped system. This is being done to ensure that all users have equal opportunity to earn level-up rewards.
This does not mean that legacy XP will be erased. Many of you have accumulated thousands of XP over the years – that effort will not go unnoticed, nor will it be erased.
On October 2nd, 2026 at 12AM UTC, the global leaderboard will be frozen and final placements will be determined. Rewards will be given out based on these final placements.
- 1st – 3rd place will individually receive unique badges (1st place gets a special 1st place badge, 2nd place gets a special 2nd place badge, etc.)
Then, the following placement groups will receive unique congratulatory badges:
- 4-10
- 11-25
- 26-100
- 101-1000
For example, a user that placed 4th and a user that placed 6th will receive the same custom badge. A user that placed 11th will receive a different custom badge, but it will be the same as the badge given to the user who placed 12th.
Users that finish 1001th or higher on the leaderboard will not receive a badge.
In addition to badges, to ensure that legacy XP is permanently recognized, all users with >0 XP at the time of the reset will have a legacy card in their profile that shows their legacy XP and placement.
Again, this reset will not occur until October 2nd, so use the next month as an opportunity to climb the leaderboard! Take advantage of contests as an opportunity to climb the rankings!
We will be sharing more details about the new quest and XP system closer to release. We’ve put a lot of thought and effort into this upcoming revamp, and we believe it’ll make Gencraft a more rewarding experience!
